I love this blog! Congrats on your 100th mark. Yes we all have stories to tell. Move managers have stories to tell about how and why they opened their business and the seniors and their families also have so much to share and so many wonderful and interesting stories. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words – it really helps to know others are out there reading the blog. Who knew my English major from the . . . dare I say it? . . . (late) 1970s would be put to such good use? Thanks again!
100 Blogs! Congratulations! And, please, keep up the great work.
For me, owning a small business is second only to raising children in difficulty; being a senior move manager is second only to having children in personal satisfaction. I love my job, but owning a small business?? Not always so much. Thank you for reminding me why we do this and why I love it so much. A past employee of mine was working with a client, sorting through her clothes and of course chatting. At one point Delores stopped and looked at my employee and asked, “Clarice, don’t you get sick of going through old people’s things?” Without hesitation, Clarice said, “No, Delores, I don’t. It’s really like reading a good book–a book on a person’s life.” Every person DOES have a story, and bless everyone who takes the time to listen.
Congratulations! this blog is amazing looking foward to you 200 post!!! i enjoy reading your articles everytime really helpfull.
